Has Dropsy Epidemic hit J&K?

Jammu, Feb 9: A teenager died of suspected dropsy epidemic while three of a family are reportedly hospitalised in this winter capital of the state. A boy namely Yash Pal (18), reportedly died of suspected Dropsy symptoms in Government Medical College (GMC) here on January 28, official sources here said. They said his mother Manisha Devi (42), father Raj Kumar (46) and younger brother Happy Singh (13), are also hospitalised due to suspected epidemic.......................

Govt orders transfer of 28 doctors

Jammu, Feb 9: Jammu and Kashmir Government today ordered transfers and postings of 28 doctors. As per Government Order No 66-HME of 2017, in the interest of administration and patient care, 28 transfers and postings of the doctors are ordered with immediate effect. Dr. Irfan Yousuf Wani DH Budgam has been transferred to JLNM Hospital, Srinagar, Dr Asifa PHC has been transferred to Zadibal, SDH, Tangdhar, Dr Ruhana Ali, B-Grade Gynaecologist SDH Kreeri has been transferred to DH, Ganderbal.............

Spouse moves HC claiming BSF jawan is missing
