Senior cadre begins reconciliation with annoyed members

Police busts Hizb terror module
Srinagar, Feb 18: Jammu and Kashmir police today claimed to have busted a module of Hizbul Mujahideen terror outfit with the arrest of a militant and nine others who were "influencing" young and innocent boys in Baramulla district to join militancy. "With the arrest of one militant Irshad Ahmad Shah of Seelu village of Sopore in Baramulla, police has been able to bust a huge network who were spearheading militant activities and recruitment of local boys in Baramulla and Sopore. Lady dies of medical negligence, hospital ransacked 

Jammu, Feb 18: A doctor was suspended after the attendants ransacked the hospital after woman's death in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. "A woman namely Sadia Kouser, resident of Badhoon village, Rajouri was brought to District Hospital Rajouri last evening where she was examined by a doctor and later referred to the gynecology ward," official sources here today said. They said that as per attendants the doctor was called but time and again.....................

Married woman arrested for throwing acid on youth in Kathua
Jammu, Feb 18: A married lady was arrested for allegedly throwing acid on her lover in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. "A woman identified as Babli Devi,34, wife of Mukhtyar Singh, resident of Lakhri, Billawar, was arrested for her involvement in the case of acid-attack on one Vishal Verma of same village," police here said. CHANDIGARH: A search operation was today launched in Punjab's Pathankot district after a car bearing the registration number of Jammu and Kashmir allegedly tried to run over police personnel on patrol duty.
