No bill to be received in Treasuries on March 31
GJ REPORT
JAMMU, JAN 3: The Finance Department today issued a slew of guidelines to streamline the fiscal management towards the closure of the financial year and avoid rush of expenditure in the last few days of March 2017. According to an order issued by the Commissioner Secretary, Finance, Navin Kumar Choudhary, under no circumstances any bill in respect of financial year 2016-17 will be received in the treasuries on the last working day of the current fiscal that is 31st March.....................

Vehicles ply from Jammu to Srinagar

SRINAGAR, MAR 3: Hundreds of vehicles, including those carrying essentials, left Jammu this morning for Srinagar as despite improvement in the weather conditions, only one-way traffic will continue on the highway, connecting Kashmir with the rest of the country.
