NEW DELHI, MAR 26: Terrorism has thrown a big challenge to humanity and people should draw inspiration from ancient scriptures to take on the menace, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said today.
"Terrorism has gripped the entire world. It has thrown a challenge to humanity. If we try to analyse incidents mentioned in ancient scriptures and set those in the present context, I would say that Jatayu was the first to fight against terrorism.

  Two Hizbul terrorists gunned down, two others held
SRINAGAR, MAR 26: Two Hizbul terrorists were gunned down on Sunday while two militants have been apprehended in separate incidents in Jammu and Kashmir.  The fatalities occurred when militants attacked a police search party in Padgampora area of Pulwama district on Sunday.
They came in a car from behind and started firing at the last vehicle of the convoy officials said. One of the slain militants has been identified as Shahbaz Safi Wani alias Rayees Kachru, who was active in the area since June, 2016.  The other one is a "recycled" militant, Farooq Ahmed Hurrah from Shopian, who had surrendered  ......................

JAMMU, MAR 26: Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta today said that Jammu and Kashmir needed quality infrastructure for development and progress and road communication was indispensable for marching towards developed and globalized society.
The Speaker said this while interacting with people during his extensive tour of Dashmesh Nagar and Qasim Nagar, Jammu to review progress of various development works in the area. Gupta said that both Central government and the State government were working for the welfare of the people. He said the Government won't tolerate any delay in the completion of developmental projects. At Qasim Nagar, the Speaker directed the concerned agencies to ensure timely completion of the works by using quality material.

Subramanian Swamy urges Muslims to allow construction of Ram Mandir

  NEW DELHI, Mar 26 : BJP patriarch L K Advani today said he has learnt from the RSS not to promote any wrongdoing and has never compromised with his principles.  Speaking at the 80th anniversary celebrations of Brahma Kumaris, a spiritual organisation, at its campus here, Advani said that he has learnt many things from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), including discipline and honesty, which helped mould his character. He described the RSS, the ideological parent of the BJP, as "one of the good organisations" and stressed the need for upright conduct of the people working with such outfits.

Ohio nightclub shooting leaves 1 dead, 15 wounded; shooter at large
Cincinnati, Mar 26: Gunfire erupted inside a packed nightclub in Cincinnati, Ohio, early Sunday morning, killing at least one person and injuring 14, and police said they were still looking for the shooter. The motive was unclear, but Cincinnati Assistant Police Chief Paul Neudigate said on Twitter that “there are no indications this incident is terrorism related.” The shooting took place around 1 am. when hundreds of people were inside the Cameo Nightlife club, which the Cincinnati Police Department said has had “multiple problems” in the past. . ...............

 Five dead in military helicopter crash in east Ukraine
moscow, Mar 26: A Ukrainian military helicopter crashed in the war-torn east of the country on Sunday, killing all five people aboard after apparently hitting a power line, in what is believed to be an accident, the army said.
"Five people died in this tragedy -- three crew members and two passengers," army spokesman Oleksandr Motuzianyk said. The incident occurred near the village of Malynivka, some 40 kilometres (25 miles) south of government-controlled city of Kramatorsk in the war-torn Donetsk region. ". ...............
